Sally Johnston

My name is Sally Johnston. I have been a part of St. Mary School Family since 1988 and attend Nativity of the Lord parish as an active parishioner.

My Catholic faith extends beyond my years at St. Mary School. I was raised Catholic and continued to raise our daughters Catholic. My husband and I educated our girls at St. Mary School. They have continued to exemplify the values they learned in elementary school through academics and community involvement.

My husband Dave and I have been married for over 20 years. We are both teachers, and we have enjoyed watching our children and students grow and learn.

On our spare time, we enjoy family camping, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Renee Hahn

Renee Hahn graduated from Alma College with a B.A. in violin performance in1986 and received her Provisional Teaching Certificate for K12 Music and Secondary Math from CMU in 1988.

She has taught with the Gratiot String Association (formerly the Gratiot-Isabella String Program) since 1989. Renee is the Worship Leader and Choir Director at the Alma United Methodist Church, works summers at Twin City Landscape, Inc, is a Group Leader for Bible Study Fellowship in Midland, is a life long private music teacher (piano, violin, viola and cello), and has taught vocal music at St. Mary’s since 2013.

Renee and her husband Mark have 2 grown sons – Aaron (wife Kallei) and Kyle. “It’s truly a privilege and my passion – to share the love of Christ in and through music.”

Kristi Cleveland

My name is Kristi Cleveland and I am the first and second grade teacher at St. Mary School. I have been teaching here since being hired for a pre-school position in 1998. My husband, JT, and I have three beautiful daughters, CJ, Taylor, both graduates of St. Mary, and Jordan who is still currently a student here. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family on our boat, following my husband and daughters’ sports, traveling, and reading a good book.

Laurie Henry

Laurie attended Mid Michigan Community College and has a CDA (Child Development Associate) along with 20 credits in early childhood at CMU and LCC. She taught preschool for Mt. Pleasant public schools for 12 years from 1988 -2000. She began teaching preschool at St. Mary’s in 2000. She enjoys working with young children, being near the water, reading, walking / nature and having fun with family and friends.

Stephanie Little

Stephanie graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and minors in Reading, Math, and Early Childhood. She taught preschool in Ann Arbor for five years before joining the St. Mary Elementary teaching staff in 2013.
